Want to break through a plateau? Most climbing instruction stops at the basics. Grip is partnering with coach Sebastian Bailey of Étude Training to bring you two clinics built for climbers who already know the ropes and want to climb smarter. Both sessions include free entry to the summer games.

Stop fighting the wall and start working with it. This clinic sharpens your balance so you can reach every move from your strongest, most stable position.

Saturday, July 18 · 11:00 a.m. –1:00 p.m.
Learn to move with power and control. This clinic helps you build momentum and commit to dynamic moves. How to initiate them, control your trajectory through the air, and catch the hold in a strong, effective position.

A full day of friendly competition, food, and community. Test yourself across a series of challenges, hang out for a BBQ, and stick around for medals and a movie night. Whether you're chasing a medal or just here for the hot dogs, there's a spot for you.
Round 1: Technical Challenges
2:00 – 4:00 PM
Treadwall Challenge (max distance, 3-minute cap), two-arm bar hang for time, pull-up contest, and a race up the campus boulder.
Round 2: Strength & Power
4:00 – 6:00 PM
Grip pull test, kneebar sit-ups, hardest no-hands slab, and the 1" crack hang challenge.
BBQ & Social Hour
5:30 – 7:00 PM
Grilled hot dogs and more, with beer service available for participants 21+.
Awards Ceremony
~7:00 PM
Medals for the top performer in every event.
Evening Social & Movie Night
7:00 PM onward
Food, casual games, and a community hangout, with a movie screening to close out the night at 8:00 PM.
